It’s a great way to prevent items from going to the landfill, it saves you money, and thrifted items tend to have more personality compared to the mass-produced things you see nowadays. You can find so much stuff to boost the appearance of your home. Some great examples can include doorknobs, cabinet handles, faucets, light fixtures, paint, home décor, bedding, and even furniture. You can find preloved goods on websites such as Gum Tree, Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Amazon Warehouse, your local thrift shop, and even apps such as Wallapop.
Try partnering up with a contractor
You may be surprised to learn that you may be able to get a discount on your bill if you have a discussion with your contractor about you chipping in and helping. Not all contractors will do this as it may affect their liability insurance, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
