I think most of us can appreciate shopping locally as it’s a great way to admire small and independent businesses, help out talented people and find unique products! One of my favourite places to #ShopSmall is Etsy! What an incredible place full of creative businesses, individuals and fantastic products quite literally out of this world.
Etsy has everything from Clothing to jewellery, replica props to unique little trinkets and even mythical and folklore creatures in a can! What more could you want? They literally cater to all kinds of people who are looking for specific items. It is my idea of a perfect platform for buying gifts for ANY occasion!

I adore Etsy and have been lucky enough to been introduced to the platform by my boyfriend who uses it to buy most of my presents for special occasions which I am super lucky for!
For our very first Valentines he bought me this beautiful heart necklace with steampunk cogs and clockwork in from Campsodella. I remember opening it and thinking “How has this beautiful being managed to find something that is so unique and perfect to what I love?” and that’s when he told me about this glorious site called Etsy! I instantly downloaded the app, made an account and the journey of discovery began.
He later went on to buy me these two steampunk rings on separate occasions from a company called CatherinetteRings who are just absolutely glorious in every way! The products created are unique, stunning and perfect for a gift you know no one else will get someone, which is another great thing about Etsy.

As I keep saying, Etsy is full of unique shops and products across a huge range of topics and themes. For example here is one of my favourite gifts EVER! It is a little bizarre to some, but I am a firm lover of all things weird and wonderful. Here is a Wendigo in a can by MythicArticulations.
My partner got it me for my birthday and I was jumping with joy when It arrived and I opened it! It’s beautifully made and the materials used are robust and look great. It’s easy to put together and is just a gorgeous little trinket to pop on the shelf; Most certainly a conversation starter!
