Autumn Makeup | #BlogtoberWithBoa Day 7

It’s day 7 of Blogtober with BOA which means AUTUMN MAKEUP! Sorry I got too excited! But seriously although I’m no pro MUA, I love a good mess round with some wonderful palettes. Being a huge fan of Autumn I love trying new makeup looks with Autumnal shades like oranges, reds, yellows and warm colours overall with the odd pop of clashed colour.

Below are some looks and palettes I am loving this Autumn.

Revolution Halloween palettes

These are two new palettes I bought on my shopping trip to Superdrug! They weren’t on the shelves yet but the staff were so lovely and gave me some of the palettes from the back as they knew I was a blogger. These two palettes are beautiful. The packaging is magnificent and the actual shades are so fitting for the season. They can be used to make so many different looks and I cannot wait to experiment with them! The one on the left with the blue packaging is the Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless ‘Enchanted’ palette and the one on the right in red is the Forever Flawless ‘Midnight Rose’ palette. Both are beautiful and combined can give a huge range of shades light and dark to work with. These are definitely worth a buy and try! They are long lasting, beautiful to look at and Revolution really have gone the extra mile to make them special with the engraved symbols on the shades.

Calm and dewy

This look is a dewy relaxed look for the average Autumn day. I love using warm colours to create a mild glowing look to brighten up a crisp, foggy Autumn day. You don’t have to go all out on these looks for an average Autumn day. I am far from professional when it comes to makeup and I want you to know that it’s a hobby you can enjoy without putting pressure on yourself to be incredible straight away! There are so many amazing MUA’s out there who you can really envy, but remember their experiences, training and time spent getting to where they are. Be you, enjoy playing around with palettes and have fun!

Auburn Goddess on a crisp Autumn morning

This look I did a while ago but feel it is perfect for that Autumn feeling. It’s an ethereal look embracing simplicity and the beauty of less. It was inspired by Nikki Lillys cover shoot for Blogosphere Magazine. Click here for the full post on it!

It is all using Makeup Revolution palettes, foundation, base makeup and lipstick! They are and always will be one of my favourite brands. Read here why I love Makeup Revolution!

Sensual dark rose

This look was another I did a while ago. I was going for that ‘badass, deep in thought, don’t mess with me’ kind of look, you know? The kind that makes you instantly feel powerful. Again it isn’t perfect but I still love it. The black and red screams Autumn!

So just a few Autumn makeup looks for you. I will be doing lots more and posting them over on my Instagram! I cannot wait to see what this season brings. Here’s to makeup, creation, art, passion and beauty. Embrace yourself and skills however experienced you are!
