So Valentines 2021 is difficult for so many. Those in relationships may have to spend Valentines apart if they do not live together and those who do will have to find an alternative to a fancy meal or drinks out. Instead we are faced with the walls of our homes, our gardens and just each other. For those apart, technology will for sure be taken advantage of! For me, I’m lucky enough to live with my other half so I count myself lucky, but this year I’m celebrating friendships again as well as my relationships, hence why I’m writing this post. Here I will tell you how you can make a fun, enticing, adult virtual Valentines sleepover this year.

Palentines goodies

If you can and fancy it, make up a little lot of goodies for your friends who are attending your virtual slumber party. It will be a lovely addition to the fun, games and overall vibe of happiness and love. For me I have come up with a little gift box list:

  • Bath and body goodies – LUSH and I teamed up and they provided two incredible bath bombs for us!
  • Sweets and snacks
  • A cheeky tipple
  • Cosy socks
  • Cosy Valentines PJ’s
  • Nail varnish
  • Perfume
  • If you’re that kinda group of gals, maybe even a cheeky adult toy to make them giggle or have a little fun in their own time
LUSH Kindly *gifted me two Valentines bath bombs to share between the group! We had one of each per person and loved talking about them during our party and making our rooms smell the glorious smells of LUSH!

Virtual platform

Since this is a virtual Valentines slumber party, we need to take note and pay attention to which virtual platform is going to work best, so get your thinking caps on and find what works best for you and your friends! Whether that be Facebook messenger video call, WhatsApp video call, Zoom, Teams or another online platform.

Games

If you fancy a little more than just a catchup, how about gathering some games that you can all laugh and joke about? I have come up with some fun games including some adult versions as well to make it even more fun and fitting with the theme of Valentines. Here’s some games I have come up with to inspire you and get those creative uses flowing:

  • Truth or dare
  • Would you rather?
  • Never Ever Have I Ever
  • Cheeky Bingo
  • Charades
  • Funny conversation starters

Tipple of choice

We must keep ourselves hydrated so whether that be an alcoholic beverage or not, it’s good to preplan and make sure you have all the essentials in to make your evening go off with a bang! Get yourself a lovely tipple whether that be wine, spirits or even cocktails. You can also ensure you have your fave sparkling water or even just soft drinks or water at the ready throughout your evening.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you have enjoyed this post. You deserve to feel loved, happy and joyful this Valentines whether you are in a relationship or not. Oh and I hope this guide can also serve you for any virtual gathering in the future. Remember we can celebrate self love and friendship all year round!

Stay wonderful and saucy!
