Freak Show!
I absolutely love Halloween for the fun, horror and decorations! I take decorating my home very seriously and we always have a theme each year. For this lot of decor here are some from our themed party last year being Freak Show! We made the home into a circus tent and dressed as horror ring masters!
We bought some striped horror back drops to stick around the walls of the room and used red and white table cloths to create the circus tent roof. The backdrops were cheap from amazon and the table cloths were super cheap too! We simply used some pins and cello-tape to stick them all up and it was so awesome in the end when it was all up!
It was the main decor and set the scene perfectly for our freak show madness!
Spiders nest!
One of our famous party themed was a spiders nest! It was so ace and gave us so much to work with. We used tonnes of cheap spider webs from everyday shops and simply covered the house in them along with some spiders of different sizes.
To tie the themed together and create a story we made a huge spider and hung it in the shower room for guests to be suprised during their bathroom breaks hehe!
We also made a body bag wrapped in spider webs slumped in the bathroom to make it look as though the person was victim to the huge spider! We used fake blood and made it look like the body had been dragged through the house to the bathroom!
Mad Scientists Lab
There is always space for a fake body bag! We took advantage of the opportunity and created one as part of our mad scientist lab as one of our experiments. We had syringes for shots, brain mould ice cubes and awesome themed cocktails!
