My first gifted item!

How exciting! I received my first ever gifted package from Adagio Teas and it was beyond my wildest dreams. When I first set my eyes upon the box, I assumed it was heavily safety packaged inside however when I opened it up I was pleasantly surprised to see a full box of goodies!
I was so chuffed and grateful that I had been sent such a large box of items from this fantastic company. I am a huge herbal tea enthusiast and I felt like Christmas had come early. I could not wait to show my audience and my family and friends!
That night I showed my mum and boyfriend and we were soooo grateful. I never thought this day would come where I feel like my blogging and hard work is good enough. Being reached out to by such a wonderful brand made my year so bright amongst all the hurt and pain I have felt.
So here goes, if you like herbal tea, keep reading hehe!

Holiday Cheer decorative tins of loose black tea

One of my favourite things I came across in the package was this ‘Holiday Cheer’ box containing six decorative tins of flavoured loose black tea. I expected a uniform set of tins and was so excited when I opened the box to find six unique tins decorated to suit the flavour.
So.. want to hear about the flavours?
Gingerbread tea:
Upon opening this tin I was overwhelmed with how packed full it was. Some loose leaf actually flew out giving off a beautiful aroma almost like fresh baked cookies! The smell was almost creamy. It was smooth and slightly zesty and held a savoury taste with a hint of sweetness. It felt like a hug in a mug. It was a great start!

Candy Apple tea:
The smell was similar to the first tea upon opening but had little pieces of apple in if I’m correct, which was lovely. Upon tasting it was similar to the gingerbread tea however you could taste the candy, almost like a dark caramel/toffee with a hint of sweet and slightly bitter apple. It lingers on the tongue for a while and my view was that it was quite a strong taste, a little stronger than expected. I was expecting sweeter tones however still enjoyed it!

Pumpkin Spiced Tea:
I am a huge fan of anything pumpkin spiced and so I was so excited to try this flavour! It did not disappoint. Again it smelt very similar to the first two but held a more subtle pleasing flavour that wasn’t as bitter as the first two. It was my Mum and boyfriends least favourite however it was my favourite of the three so far.

Chestnut tea:
This tea smells divine and most certainly nutty! It is the most significant taste of them all and lingers on the tongue long after finishing. It is smooth, tasty and something I didn’t expect to enjoy, however I was wrong. I really liked it and can’t wait to get my friends to have their opinions on them.

Candy Cane tea:
Wow! This tea has taken over as number one. It is beautiful and I’d say it is my perfect tea. It is smooth , fresh and you get a lingering cool taste and feel. It is the quite simply the perfect balance of sweet, smooth and freshness. I have found my new favourite tea!

Cranberry tea:
This tea is more like a simple english breakfast tea. It is smooth, subtle and balanced. If I wanted a more simple tasting tea, I’d reach for this one, the same for if I had guests who were more so leaning towards regular breakfast tea.

It was a dream trying these teas and I came out with a new fave! The Candy Cane tea! – I will be showing my friends favourites in the near future.

I did find the fact they were filled to the brim a little inconveniencing as each time I opened a tin, lots fell out and some of the tins are harder to open than others so take care when opening. I learnt my lesson whilst opening the first tin with force and it went all over the floor and myself haha. A few tasted very similar but I think different palettes will experience different things. Overall I really enjoyed this selection and stocking filler gift. To shop this gift, click on either picture! They are £12.

Artisan herbals

Yuletide Toddy is a very sweet berry type tea. It has very similar tastes to mulled wine. It carries the bitter, sweet and zesty tones with some spicy notes floating about too. The smell from opening this packet is insane! It’s very powerful and slightly took my breath away as I took a huge sniff hehe. Personally this tea isn’t for me. I don’t like berry teas usually so it’s just a matter of opinion and taste.

Rooibos Nutcracker is a very savoury, spicy flavour. It carries a heavy caramel type taste with hints of sweetness and zest. I really like this tea! It’s warming, subtle and easy to drink, just my cup of tea hehe.

IngenuiTEA 2

Adagio teas kindly sent me the ingenuiTEA 2! What a dream! It is absolutely wonderful. It is easy to use, easy to clean and makes tea making extra fun and exciting. This infuser tea pot is fantastic for using loose leaf teas. You simply pop your desired tea leaves in along with hot water and leave for around 5 minutes depending on what directions you are given on the packet. Once your tea is ready you simply grab your cup and place the tea pot on top. The cup will push up the bottom of the pot and will strain the tea directly into your cup. Once you have filled your cup simply lift the pot off and place it back down. Now sit and enjoy your favourite tea. If you’d like to buy this or go to the website, simply click either image to be taken to it. The ingenuiTEA 2 is £20.

Glass Mug

This glass mug is light weight and good quality. I love glass mugs as I like being able to see through to the tea or any hot beverage. I was so pleased with them sending me this mug as I have loved trying all of these products in one go! If you’d like to buy this mug, click on any of these images and it will take you to the site. These mugs are £7.

Tea Advent Calendar

When I saw this in the box I almost cried! I am so grateful to have been gifted this on top of the other products. I can say that from the packaging this calendar is beautiful and during December I will be opening each door and filming what’s inside hehe. I can’t wait!

To buy this product over on the company site it is £24. What a fantastic price for this large, beautiful calendar. Click the image to be linked to this product!

Overall receiving this gifted package has been wonderful. I would most certainly recommend Adagio teas to everyone! They are a great company and most of the products I tried are high quality.

“Our teas are sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegan, and in virtually all cases, contain zero calories (as long as you don’t add milk and sugar). They’re created in a facility devoid of nuts and gluten-containing ingredients. The only exceptions are teas which contain sugar sprinkles or chocolate chips. Our chocolate chips are dairy-free, but do contain soy lecithin.”

Come join the tea party! Stay wonderful, Louna x
