My home is my canvas!
Every season I love to create a themed home with so much personality. Autumn and Halloween are my favourite for decorations. I love the warm colours and textures and any excuse to have tonnes of pumpkins and squash.
I love to collect autumn leaves, wash and dry them out and just laying them around my home to bring in some natural beauty to my homes atmosphere.
Autumn is a cosy and warming season. The leaves turn red and orange and we are swamped with gorgeous selections of unique pumpkin and squash. I love rustic decor like potpourit, pinecones, acorns and homemade dried and spiced oranges and apples. I love to make wreaths using these wonderful materials!
Something I love about Fall decor is making any room beautifully cosy and warm. One way to make your living and bedroom super autumnal is to buy some lovely pillows, whether that be just autumnal colours or images! As you see on the image above, I love my quotes and cartoon pictures on pillows! They have texture, warmth and personality to every room and I think they are a lovely way of adding little autumn touches to your home.
One of my favourite home touches all year round is the use of candles and fairy lights!
They add so much character to the home and add light and warmth.
I love candle holders and unique looking and smelling candles. Autumn candles are divine and add such a rich and cosy vibe to the house. They are great for scenting the house in the day and warming the house during the evening when you want to feel super cosy!
