For those of you who want to give something a little different to the usual bath and body gifts, maybe think about what kind of products your recipient would like involving their lifestyle. I class lifestyle gifts as candles, room spray, pictures, framed illustrations, cosy throws, mugs, fairy lights, lamps, furniture, pillows and things along those lines. In my opinion lifestyle is the best kind of range to gift! but if you fancy others, you can check out my beauty gift guide, food and drink gift guide, bath and body gift guide, clothing and accessory gift guide, Shop small gift guide, stocking filler gift guide or even my geeky gift guide!

Books and stationary

Books are a great gift as there are so many types! Most of us have received the odd cook book here and there which is always fun and then you have the hyped mindfulness books that are a great addition to someones collection. There really is a huge list of books that are perfect for certain people; Comic books, Novels, various genres, cook books, nature books, informative books, encyclopaedias, educational books, true crime books and childrens books plus many more! I absolutely love getting books for people. I am especially fond of buying affirmation books and ones about positivity as I think we can all do with a little bit of positivity in our lives. They are a great gift or stocking filler and really go a long way with the sentiment.

Another great addition to a gift set is a diary, notebook or journal along with some stationary!

I go to a number of places for my books, journals, notebooks and stationary:

Wilko

Paperchase

Foyles

Waterstones

Homeware

This has to be one of my favourite things to buy for those I love as I love all things homeware and find that you can really give someone that homely, warm feeling when giving them something for their home. I love the idea of creating a little hamper full of warming gifts like mugs, soft throws, pillows, fairy lights, hot water bottles, candles and duvet sets. They are useful, look great and act as a great addition to the home and lifestyle of the recipient.

Some of my favourite Homeware shops are:

Home sense and TKMaxx

George at Asda

Ikea

Decor and ornaments

This one is quite a common topic for gifts as it includes pictures, framed illustrations, sentimental ornaments and keepsakes which are often a favourite for the older generation who enjoy the sentiment of a product given to them. I must admit I have far too many ornaments and have had to Kindly asked my friends to steer clear of this range should they want to get me a gift as I am struggling to home all of these wonderful ornaments and decor! I am very fond of these types of gifts when gifting someone however you really have to find that perfect one for the person receiving.

Here is a picture of a little illustration I bought myself from ‘My Pretty Summer Home’ who I included in my ‘Shop Small Gift Guide’ and I am in love with it! I placed it onto my desk alongside my little festive corner which also features some great little gift ideas like the rustic wooden cutting, the crystals, gem stones, candles, faux plants and general festive decor. I love adding a pine cone to a gift box just to give it that extra oomph and I definitely think candles, gem stones and crystals are great additions to your lifestyle gifting.

Garden gifts

Alongside Homeware gifting, you can fit in some outdoor ones too! For instance, we have purchased a gorgeous Handmade bird box from a small company on Etsy called Printing Personal! who provide beautiful creations with your own personal message and customisation on them. We customised ours for my partners Grandad as he is obsessed with his beautiful garden and nature. So we got him a bird box which reads ‘Grandads Birdbox Love Lewis and Louna xx’ and we cannot wait for him to see it!

As well as some customised gifts you can also just head to your local shops and buy some garden tools, gnomes, feature ornaments, water fountains and just general garden ware. You can go decorative or super useful!

Misc.

There are so many options that the list is endless but in such a good way meaning you can probably find something for EVERYONE! I’m talking vases, coasters, awesome straws, phone selfie lights, LSW Mind cards, tarot cards, crafting materials and even days out vouchers like a race car day, tours and even gig tickets!

A company who are great for general lifestyle gifts is one I discussed in my ‘Shop Small Gift Guide’: Poppie Snow – A beautiful business selling Homeware and Gifts of various ranges! When I saw “Poppiesnow followed you on Instagram“, I instantly went over to check them out and fell in love. They sell such a huge range of homeware and gifting. From simple products to very unique which I love meaning there really is something in it for everyone. I hope to purchase from them soon and will certainly show you what I find when I do!

Thank you for reading. I hope you feel inspired with your gift giving. Let me know what you think of lifestyle gifts.

Stay wonderful!
